The second part to this mini guide on the Alchemy profession in World of Warcraft will help you start leveling this profession and take you from level 1 up to level 200.

  • slide 1 of 1

    From 1 to 200...

Now that you know what type of herbs you will need and the basic number of vials that you need to level your Alchemy, we move on to the good part – actually leveling your profession up. While Alchemy might seem hard, and I'm sure some players have told you it is, it is actually a great profession to have, especially for casters.

At level 1, you gain Apprentice Alchemy from a trainer

From level 1 – 50: Minor Healing Potion – You will make about 60 of these. BUT – do not use these. Put them in your bank because you will need them for leveling from 50 to 110.

At level 50, you can train for Journeyman Alchemy

From level 50 – 110: Lesser Healing Potion – You will also make about 60 of these, and you will use the Minor Healing potions that you just made.

From level 110 – 125: Healing Potion – You will make about 25 of these. I would use these when needed, as they can come in really handy, especially for casters.

At level 125, you can train for Expert Alchemy

From level 125 – 140: Healing Potion (again) – You will make about 15 or so of these.

From level 140 – 155: Lesser Mana Potion – You will make about 15 of these. I would also keep and use these when needed as they can help you out when you really need them, especially for those who rely heavily on casting.

From level 155 – 185: Greater Healing Potion – You will make about 30 of these. You can sell them on the auction house or use them, which ever you want to do. They make decent money at the auction house.

From level 185 – 200: Elixir of Agility – You will make 15 of these. These sell really well on the auction house, or you can use them if you want.

At level 200, you can train for Artisan Alchemy. But, here is the kick – there are only two trainers in the game that will teach you Artisan Alchemy instead of several like for the other levels below this one. The only ones in the game are: Rogvar (Horde, Swamp of Sorrows) and Kylanna Windwhisper (Alliance, Feralas).

So, now that you know how to get up to level 200 with your Alchemy skills, the next section of this mini guide will show you how to get all the way up to level 375 and make you some decent money while you are at it!
