Balance Druid Talents in World of Warcraft

Need help in understanding what all the talents on the balance side of the druid do? This article will explain the balance talents for a druid in World of Warcraft.

    Balance druid talents will have you giving you increase in things like your thorn and moonfire spells, and to increase your chances for better damage. These are some of the lower talents in the Balance side of the talent tree for World of Warcraft Druids. For all about being a druid check out Druid Basics by mdweems.

    Starlight Wrath – You can put five talent points in this talent and it has no requirements. It will reduce the Wrath and Starfire casting time. Talent point one is for 0.1 second, talent point two is for 0.2 seconds, talent point three is for 0.3 seconds, talent point four is for 0.4 seconds, and talent point five is for 0.5 seconds.

    Nature’s Grasp – You can put one point into this talent and there are no requirements. It will, while active, make it to where anytime an enemy strikes the caster it will have a 35% chance to be afflicted by Entangling roots. Has one charge, can only be used outdoors, and lasts 45 seconds.

    Improved Nature’s Grasp – You can put four points in this and it requires the one point in Nature’s Grasp. It will increase the chance for Nature’s Grasp to tangle up an enemy. Talent point one is for 15%, talent point two is for 30%, talent point three is for 45%, and talent point four is 65%.

    Control of Nature – There are three points you can put in and it requires 5 points in other balance talents. It will give you a percentage chance to avoid interruption while casting cyclone or entangling roots. Talent point one is 40%, talent point two is 70%, and talent point three is 100%.

    Focused Starlight – There are two points you can use here and there are 5 required points in other balance talents. It increases the critical strike chance of Starfire and Wrath. Talent point one is for 2% and talent point two is for 4%.

    Improved Moonfire – There are two points you can use here and it requires 5 points in balance talents. It will increase the damage and critical strike chance of you moonfire. Talent point one is for 5% and talent point two is for 10%.

    Brambles – This has three points you can put here and it requires 10 points in balance talents. It will increase the damage caused by entangling roots and thorns. Talent point one is for 25%, talent point two is for 50%, and talent three is for 75%.

    Insect Swarm – This takes only one point and it requires 10 other balance talents to be selected. This will have the enemy is swarmed by insects and decreases their chance to hit by 2% causing nature damage over 12 seconds.

    Nature’s Reach – This has two skill points and requires 10 talent points in balance. It will increase the range of balance spells and from faerie fire (feral). Talent point one is 10% and talent point two is 20%.

    Vengeance – You can put five skill points in this talent and it will require two in focused starlight and 15 in balance. It will increase the critical strike damage bonus for starfire, moonfire and wrath. Talent point one is for 20%, Talent point two is for 40%, talent point three is 60%, talent point four is 80%, and talent point five is 100%.

    Celestial Focus – You can have three talent points here and 15 talent points in balance are required. It will give your starfire spell a percentage chance to stun for 3 seconds and increases the chance you’ll resist spell interruption when you cast Wrath. Talent point one is 5%/25%, talent point two is 10%/50%, and talent point three is 15%/70%.

    Lunar Guidance – You can put three talent points in this and it requires 20 talent points in balance. It increases your spell damage and healing by percentage of total intelligence. Talent point one is for 8%, talent point two is for 16%, talent point three is for 25%.

    Nature’s Grace – You can put one talent point in here and it requires 20 talent points in balance. It will make all spell criticals grace you will a blessing of nature which will reduce the cast time of your next spell by 0.5 seconds.

    Moonglow – You can put three talent points in this and it requires 20 balance talent points elsewhere. It will reduce the mana cost of starfire, moonfire, wrath, regrowth, healing touch, and rejuvenation spells. Talent point one is 3%, talent point two is 6%, and talent point three is 9%.
