World of Warcraft Quest Guide: "Enemy of my Enemy"
Burning Legion forces are raining death down upon the horde outpost of Thrallmar. It's in the best interest of the Alliance to ensure this stops, and Field Marshal Brock has decided you're just the soldier for the job.
Now that you’ve established a foothold for Alliance forces at Honor Point, it’s time to help out some unlikely allies, the Horde forces at Thrallmar. Despite all the differences between the two factions, they’ll need to work together to take on the Burning Legion, and that will be difficult if the Horde forces are destroyed before they can even get started.
Your job is to invade Forge Camp: Rage and destroy the Fel Cannons they’re using to bombard the Horde Outpost.
"Enemy of my Enemy"
This mission starts once again with Field Marshal Brock at Honor Point. After you complete the “Disruption: Force Camp Mageddon" mission, he’ll ask you to take on this second task.
Forge Camp: Rage is just West of Forge Camp: Mageddon, but you don’t really have to travel that far. Despite what the quest description says, you can take out Fel Cannons at either location for this quest. The ones nearby will save you a bit of travel time.
Fel Cannon MKIs
Regardless of whether you choose to take out cannons at Forge Camp: Mageddon or Forge Camp: Rage, they will be dealt with in the same way. It’s difficult to find them unattended, so plan on taking on multiple foes (usually the cannon and a Gan’arg Servant) simultaneously.
You’ll find the cannons on the cliff’s edge overlooking Thrallmar, along the Southern edge of each camp.
The cannons have relatively low hit points, so concentrate on them first. If you find yourself in over your head with the second mob, use any aggro-breaking or stun abilities (Vanish, for example) to flee once the cannon is down.
The cannons are not going to take your attacks lightly, so be prepared to absorb a few Fel Cannon Blasts before you’re able to take them down.
You may have to deal with some Sisters of Grief or even the feared Razorsaw from your previous quest if you’re not careful about clearing the area around the cannons before you attack. They patrol erratically, so it’s important to keep an eye on your rear even while fighting.
Return to Field Marshal Brock
Once three cannons have been taken out, your mission is complete. Mount up and fly or run back to Honor Point and Field Marshal Brock for your reward: two gold and almost 10,000 experience points.
Your work here is not quite done, though. Brock has one more mission for you: shutting down the flow of demonic reinforcements to the area.
This time, though, you’ll have no trusty gryphon to ride upon and bomb the gate from above. You’re going to have to get up close and personal with the leader of Invasion Point in order to shut down this last one.
