For those who hit level 75, this is the next area on your list. Out of the blue comes this tropical rainforest-type jungle set in the middle of this icy continent. The graphics here are really beautiful, and makes you ready for a trip here any time. You'll also find no scourge here – as the Titans have erected massive pylons that keep them out. But, there are other battles to fight, as gamers who enter here will be caught up in the middle of a massive faction war between the Wolvar (who are a wolverine-like race) and the Oracles (which are basically the next step up the evolutionary ladder for the murlocs). You will have to choose which side to fight for, and you can change your alliance at any time. There are two areas here that offer flight paths, both neutral, Nesingwary Base Camp (sound familiar) and River's Heart.

This is truly one unique area. It's oddly colored purples of the trees, grasses, and more offer players an almost disorienting experience when it comes to questing here. But for those who are levels 77-80, this is a great place to go. Here you'll find the crystaline golems and the green dragons, which you'll fight against throughout your quests here. There is one neutral town, one Alliance town, and one Horde town here, so any faction can find a place to fly into and repair points.

The Storm Peaks
A beautiful mountain ranged area in Northrend, the Storm Peaks offers great quests and some awesome new races that players have never come in contact with before. For those who are above level 77, this is another great area to head to, explore, and quest in. There are three dungeons here, the Halls of Stone, the Halls of Lightening, and Ulduar Raid (which is the only 10-25-man raid dungeon here), for players to sink their teeth and fighting skills into. There are several larger towns with flight points for all factions, so you never have to worry about riding too far here.

The home of the Icecrown Citadel, Icecrown Glacier lives up to it's name graphically. This massive area of deep blue ice is filled with the scourge and other undead creatures that you'll have to fight off and quest against. There are no living things here in this wasteland, so those that have any type of undead spells will do well to use them here.

The main sanctuary city of Dalaran is similar to Shattrah City in the Outlands, where both factions will find shelter and safety no matter what. Here is where the banks and auctions are, and where many people will automatically set their hearths. You'll find rare vendors here, fun quests, and other great things to spend your time on.

Overall, I really like all the new areas of the expansion. There are some parts that look too similar to other areas of the game, and then there are those that will completely blow you away when you hit them. So, for the major work that obviously went into designing, creating, and implementing this completely new continent, I have to give Northrend and the new areas in it a solid 5 out of 5. If you want to find out more about the new expansion, Northrend, or anything else related to World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, you can head over to the main World of Warcraft site and find links for everything you need to complete your WoW knowledge
